FAQs

1. Do I need to inform the MID if I have changes in my fleet?
Yes, you must ensure that you update the MID to reflect all changes in your fleet (this includes all vehicles added and removed). This is extremely important as it is your legal responsibility to ensure the database is kept up to date. The MID is used by Police to check whether a vehicle is insured or not therefore we advise that you log in and check the database has been updated correctly.

To reset your MID login &/or password please contact helpdesk: [email protected] or 0800 389 2674

2. What do I do if I want vehicles adding or removing from my policy?
Aon must be informed of all vehicles. Therefore, is it essential that you advise us directly on [email protected] when you are adding or removing vehicles.

The MID must be updated separately as we are not automatically informed when a vehicle is added or removed from the MID.

3. Are there any age restrictions for this policy?
No, there are no driver age restrictions, however the following requirements do apply:

Must hold a valid UK and EU licence for at least 2 years. This also applies to EEC (European Economic Community) license. If a driver has over 6 points, this will need to be referred to insurers. Drivers with convictions beginning with any of the following codes will need to be individually referred to insurers before they can be insured to drive: BA, CD, DD, DR, IN.
